About Small Space Upgrade
Small Space Upgrade is an independent site based in France. We help people with limited space, such as students, renters and remote workers, choose products that fit their rooms and the way they live in them.
Why we started
The site began with a small rented studio. As a student, our founder rented one and wanted to customize it: to make a small, rented space work and feel like home. That is still what this site is about.
Who it is for
- Students in studios and small rooms
- Renters who need changes they can undo when they move out
- Remote workers fitting a workspace into a small home
- Anyone making the most of limited space
What we cover
Home-improvement products for small spaces: storage and organization, small-space furniture, renter-friendly decor, smart home and eco-friendly upgrades.
How we choose products
Our reviews and guides are research-based. We compare listings, specs, dimensions and what verified buyers repeatedly praise or complain about, with extra weight on how well a product works in a small space. Unless a review is marked Tested by us, we have not tested the product hands-on, and we never claim we have. The full process is on our Our Method page.
Everything on the site is published under the name Small Space Upgrade Editors.
How the site is funded
Our product links go to Amazon.com. As an Amazon Associate we earn from qualifying purchases made through those links, at no extra cost to you. See our Affiliate Disclosure.
